Shiraz – the city of Gardens

1.Eram Garden:

It is a UNESCO World heritage site. The variety of plants is significant and is similar to an exhibition of flowers and plants. The Eram garden is place where you can get rid of traffic and busy streets of Shiraz and immerse yourself in nature and Roses. It's well-kept and the palace in the garden has great architecture. It is a must-sees in Shiraz

2.Tomb of Hafez:

This monument was built during the Zand Dynasty. Its length is 56 meters and its width is 8 meters. This place is special because of its spiritual atmosphere which makes it different from other tourist attractions. Hafez Shirazi the most popular Iranian poet was born in (1315 – 1390 AD). When you visit the tomb you may see many poetry lovers reading and praising poets which is due love the feel towards Hafez.


It is no less than a wonder of the world. Persepolis is one of the historical and ancient cities in Iran and was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire for many years. There is a magnificent palace in this city which is named Persepolis and was built during the reign of Darius I, Artaxerxes I and Xerxes I. It exemplifies the Achaemenid style of architecture and UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in 1979.

4.Shah-e-Cheragh Shrine:

The holy Shah Cheragh Shrine is highly respected in Shiraz. This shrine was built in the 6th century and its sanctuary is designed with beautiful tiles. Inside the shrine is designed with small colorful mirrors and chirographies in Persian and Arabic.

5.Quran Gate (Darvazeh Quran):

Qur'an Gate, also known as the Shiraz Gate is a historic gate in the north of Shiraz, Iran. It is located at the north eastern entrance of the city, on the way to Marvdasht and Isfahan. Initially this gate was built by Adud al-Dowla and there was a Quran placed on top of the gate so that anyone who exits the city is blessed by it. This gate was renovated during the reign of Karim Khan Zand and a small room was added to the top of the gate. He also put two valuable Qurans in the room and the two Qurans are now being kept in Pars Museum.
